Before we start mining operations, we should think about an energy usage. It’s worth verifying the price of energy that we will use to power our cryptocurrency excavators. The next step is choosing the right machine in terms of energy consumption, total power, quality of components, manufacturer’s availability and serviceability. The types of equipment that we currently distinguish are ASIC, GPU and FPGA. The latter are completely new. These are machines that, like the GPU, have the ability to change the algorithm. In the case of ASIC machines, this is very risky and time consuming.

There are several possibilities to increase the efficiency of machines, i.e. liquid cooling or heat collection from devices. The heat can be additionally transported to CO or CWU at home or office. This will allow for savings, which will translate into a faster return on investment. We can also put the device in the so-called collocation. By collocating the machine, we receive constant 24/7 technical supervision, insurance, own VPN and many other useful services.
